In five hours we collected 99 units of usable blood which equals to 297 lives! The average donation for the Red Cross is between 35-40 units per drive, and everyone on staff was blown away by the number of units we were able to collect. ⁠

Pediatric cancer patients regularly need blood transfusions while going through chemotherapy, and collecting this many units will help a lot of children. 💛⁠
